If you are ever at the University of Iowa you need to go... to the MALL!
Last weekend I got to add Iowa to the list of states I've visited. Here are some of the highlights:
- found the hairiest hotel room I've ever seen, I mean literally hairy! Okay, it's not a "highlight", but it was remarkable. YUCK!
- Yeah, I know it is not 1991, but I did hang out at the mall:
- bought a sssweet new stroller
- Played in the kids play area for almost two hours, Scarlett decided it would be more fun without her pants
- Chatted with a true-blue Iowan corn farmer
- Had lunch with our new friends (thanks to Scarlett) in the food court
- Watched ice skaters
- Went to a museum -- so much fun, Wonderlab on crack
- Hopped on the carousel
So, if you're ever in Iowa, I hope you have as much fun!

There is a distinct possiblity of finding myself in Iowa one of these days. Dan lived in Waterloo, and I actually went to a really good mall while I was there. It had a Dillards, I don't know if it was the same one. Thanks for adding me to your blog roll, by the way. We miss you cuties.
